Our Rigs

OES Teamwork

The OES Teamwork formerly known as the Searex XII was built in 1982 and enhanced in 1990. The rig which was purchased by OESL in 2007 is a 2000HP swamp drilling barge equipped with 10,000PSI BOP systems. It has an IDECO built mast and substructure with rated static hookload capacity of 1,500,000lbs and capable of drilling up to 25,000ft. The rig is equipped with three EMD diesel engines, two T-1600 IDECO Triplex mud pump, three Derrick Linear Motion Shakers, two Hi-G- dryers, and a Varco TDS-3S Top Drive.

Furthermore, OES Teamwork has well-furnished accommodation with bed space for 98 people, 2 recreation rooms with senior and junior mess.

OES Respect

The rig which was formerly known as the Searex VI was built in 1981 and underwent refurbishment in 1990.  It is a 3000HP swamp barge equipped with 10,000PSI BOP systems. It has Pyramid built mast and substructure with static hookload rating of 1,500,000lbs and capable of drilling up to 25,000ft. OES Respect is equipped with four CAT3516B Caterpillar diesel engines, three 7500psi Weatherford mud pumps, three Derrick FLC514 Shakers and a TDS 4S Varco Top Drive.

In 2013 the rig underwent a life time enhancement refurbishment and upgrade project at the Beacon Maritime Shipyard in Orange, Texas

OES Integrity

OES Integrity (formerly known as Searex VIII) was built in 1985 as a 2000HP, 10,000PSI rig.  However; in 2008 OESL acquired the rig and upgraded it to a 3000HP modern swamp barge equipped with 15,000PSI BOP systems making it the only High Pressure High Temperature (HPHT) rig in the fleet. It has a Superior Derrick built mast and substructure with static hookload rating of 1,500,000lbs and capable of drilling up to 30,000ft.

The draw works system is joystick operated with strategically located monitors for easy coordination of operations. The rig also has four 3516HD Caterpillar diesel engines, three T-1600 Triplex mud pumps, 7,500PSI mud circulating system, four Derrick HI-G force shale shakers, a Canrig 1275AC Top Drive and other state of the art rig equipment.

OES Passion

OES Passion is a unique swamp barge designed for sequential well drilling.  Equipped with a skidding system, the rig is able to drill up to six wells while remaining on the same location thus optimizing the reservoir. The rig which entered service in 1999 is rated to 3000HP and is capable of drilling to 25,000ft in water depths of 8.5ft.  Following the purchase of the rig in 2009, OESL committed to carrying out a refurbishment project ahead of placing the rig on contract.  The project which concluded in 2012 with an acceptance testing and commissioning exercise by SPDC involved the overhauling of all major equipment such as the mud pumps, the Electro Motive Drive System (EMD) engines, the top drive and an upgrade of the accommodation module.  Critical to the project was the restoration of the cantilever skidding system which is expected to save the client up to 30 days for every six wells drilled.
